First he's Sean Combs. Then he's Sean "Puff Daddy" Combs. Then he's Puff Daddy. Then he's P Diddy. Now he's just Diddy. Trouble is, nobody gives "diddly" what he calls himself. I wonder if there's any truth to the story of how he got the name P Diddy:

It seems one of his earliest memories is that of his father using P. Diddy as his personal nickname for young Sean.

However, recently our Mr Diddy's mother came forward with her own version of the story.

Whenever Sean's father would walk in and see Mom changing Sean's diapers, he would say:

"Peed, did he?"
